DNOW 2024

WHAT

Discipleship Now (DNOW) is a weekend retreat for 6th -12th grader students. This event takes place from Friday night till Sunday morning. Students will participate in large group worship, small group Bible studies, and Saturday outreach/recreation activities. Church members host the students in their homes, which are organized by grade and gender. Each group is led by one of our adult or college leaders, who have cleared background checks, thorough interviews, and appropriate training.

WHERE

D-NOW will take place at Bulverde Baptist Church as well as the participating Host Home locations located throughout the Spring Branch and Bulverde area.

High schoolers: Will spend the night at host homes
Middle schoolers: Will NOT spend the night at host homes

SPEAKER: Ashton Pullin and Robbie East

Ashton has served alongside Bulverde Baptist as a student and Intern. Ashton currently serves at her local church Storyline in Colorado. Her full-time job is working at Hope House after she graduated from Colorado Christian University with a degree in communication. She has led discipleship teams which allowed her to find a calling serving women and young girls in finding a deep relationship with God. She serves as the volunteer coordinator at Hope House working with teen moms and pointing everyone she comes into contact with to Jesus.

Robbie is the student pastor at Bulverde Baptist. He has a passion for serving families and leading everyone he meets into a deeper relationship with Christ. Robbie has served in ministry for the past 16 years. He has a degree from UTSA in Psychology and is currently pursuing his master's in Theology from Luther Rice Seminary. Robbie believes that God has a purpose behind his creation and Christ is at the center of that purpose.

WORSHIP BAND: ISLY ( I So Love You)

ISLY ( I So Love You) is a worship group from Southern California. The group started out as friends in their local student ministry. God quickly called them step out and serve as a worship team. Their main focus is to simply glorify Jesus and help people connect with God through worship.
